Ballarat Health Services Psychiatric Services is a publicly funded Area Mental Health Service which provides psychiatric services within the Grampians Health Region. The region covers some 48,000 square kilometres from Bacchus Marsh to the South Australian Border and has a population of 230,000 people.

There is a broad range of Psychiatric Services provided which includes:

• Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
  for those up to the age of 18 years of age.
• Adult Mental Health Services
  for those betwee 18 & 65 years of age.
• Aged Persons Mental Health Service
  for those aged 65 years or older.
• Primary Mental Health Team.
