Ballarat Consulting and Diagnostic Suites provide a range of bulk billedservices to patients and clients from the Ballarat community and broader Grampians region. These services include a broad cross section of Specialist Clinics and Diagnostic Services including ECG and EEG, a full description of these services is included in this site.
All services at these rooms can be accessed with a valid referral and the patients attending these rooms are non-admitted patients or current inpatients of Ballarat Health Services referred from a ward. There are no out of pocket costs for any patient attending services offered by Salaried Medical Staff at the Ballarat Consulting and Diagnostic Suite. There are some fees applied by Private Practitioners (Non-salaried medical staff) and for non-rebatable items such as Holter and BP monitoring.
We aim to offer a quality, patient/family focused service to our clients and as a result, our reception team make contact with the patient and/or their family or carer, in an effort to ensure that the appointment is organised in such a way as to fit into our client’s schedule. We also confirm appointments with our clients prior to their appointment date and time to reduce “no shows” and to enable us to reallocate appointment times to other clients on our waiting lists.
