Ballarat Health Services provides specialist medical and surgical services to non-admitted patients from the Ballarat and Grampians region. Our Specialist Clinics accept referrals for patients requiring specialist consultation for elective and non-emergency treatment at Ballarat Health Service as a public patient. Ballarat Health Service provides 56 specialist clinics per week . All referrals are triaged by medical staff, and the allocation of appointments is prioritised on the basis of clinical urgency. This ensures patients are seen in a timely manner and patients within the same urgency category are seen in order of referral date. As a Department we are committed to demonstrating a strong customer focus in all the work that we do and strive to provide a high quality responsive service. |
